New Lee100 Tandem Adaptor from Lee Filters is here

The Lee100 Tandem Adaptor for the Lee Filters Lee100 filter system is here, making it possible to attach & use two Lee100 holders at the same time.

Designed primarily for landscape photographers, the new Lee100 Tandem Adapter adds more versatility to the Lee100 system by stacking two Lee100 Filter Holders on top of one-another. As shown in the video above.

The new tandem adaptor also allows for each filter holder to be rotating independently from each other. Which is something Lee Filters believe is ideal for landscape photography:

“The Lee100 Tandem Adaptor is ideal for Landscape photographers who need ND grad filters positioned at different angles. For example, if you had bright side light on one side of an image you would need to position one ND grad filter vertically to hold back the brightness. Whilst another ND grad filter would need to be positioned horizontally to hold back the detail in the remainder of the sky.”

As well as landscape photography, Lee Filters say the adaptor is useful in fashion/portrait photography too:

“Fashion / portrait photographers can also use the technique of having ND grad filters at different angles. An example being ND grad filters positioned either side of a models face, for a darker moody looking image.”

The Tandem Adaptor easily slides into the front slot of the first Lee100 holder.

The second holder then clips onto the tandem adaptor in the same way it would to an adaptor ring.

The adaptor has been designed for the Lee100 system only, and is not compatible other 100mm filter holders.
